The annual key industrial products in Ningbo have been announced. Among 26 products, four were made in Cixi and producers were awarded 200,000 Yuan.  

GE2-52C, a computer-controlled knitter made in Cixi was among six most competitive products.

Among 18 top innovative products, three were made in Cixi, including precise compound modeling 880X880 made by Hongda Modeling, numerical-controlled cutter (XMG) made by Jinfeng Welding & Cutting Machinery, and automatic switch (TP2-1000) made by Qile Electric Appliance.  

Cixi government recommended from such programs as Initial Equipments, Key Industrial Products and Key Technological Reconstruction in order to not only gain more financial support from Ningbo Government and promote the technological innovation and new product development in enterprises, but also speed up readjustment and optimization of industrial structure. It is said that Cixi had invested 32697 Yuan to tentatively produce more than 200 products.
