One hundred talents from abroad visited Cixi on June 25. Vice secretary and mayor of Cixi, Xu Huajiang met them. Vice Secretary Li Xingda and other leaders, Hua Hong, Vice mayor Hu Jianguo attended the meeting.

It is said that these one hundred talents are all from abroad, including Ya Naxin, a Ph.D from America. Their research interests cover biological medicine, electronic engineering, sensor information, electronic information and new energy. 31 of them were listed into one of Thousand Abroad Talents Project.

Xu Huajiang met these talents and showed his warm welcome to them and other guests. Xu said that, at the beginning year of 12th Five-year Plan, Cixi will build a strategic platform for pushing forward the reform and opening up, and speeding up marine economic development, and promoting urbanization and industrialization. Cixi will also attach great importance to introducing talents from abroad so as to enhance the transition and upgrading of economy. Cixi implemented the project of Shanglin Talents so as to attract more talents to work in Cixi and share the business opportunity and the energy in Cixi.

In an exchange meeting, Li Xingda said that Cixi would make great efforts to introduce strategically new industries and modern service industry, reform and upgrade traditional industries and develop marine economy. Besides, Cixi will also develop recycling economy and energy-saving industry and industry concerning environmental protection. Cixi welcomed more and more talents from abroad to invest and start their business in Cixi.

Hu Jianguo gave a detailed introduction to the industrial and economic development in the city. Other officials introduced new industrial clusters, Cidong Industrial Garden and talent introduction to the attendants.

Hundred talents visited Dacheng New Material and said that they would know more about Cixi so as to invest and start their business in Cixi.
