On the afternoon of Dec. 25, 2017, domestic and foreign experts gathered at Hangzhou Bay New Zone, Ningbo for the 6th Hangzhou Bay Forum, during which they shared their unique insights on intelligent manufacturing and future scientific development from many aspects including the development trends of the global intelligent manufacturing industry and regional economy industry.
It is known that centering on such topics as the intelligent network connectivity, innovative cooperation, global perspective and future science and technology, the latest forum invites a host of reputed experts, scholars, renowned business leaders and representatives from high-tech startups to discuss changes to be brought by the future science and technology in production and lifestyle, expecting to give new impetus to the development of intelligent manufacturing with efforts pooling together from various channels. During the Roundtable Dialogue, participants with different professional backgrounds and personal experience carried out an in-depth discussion on the future development of intelligent manufacturing in the Hangzhou Bay New Zone from several angles such as the industry’s current developments and its future trends, the application of intelligent science, etc.
Since its inception on Dec.25, 2013, Hangzhou Bay Forum, organized by Research Institute of Fudan University in Ningbo, has been altogether held five times, once in a year. Focusing on themes like opportunities brought by Shanghai Free Trade Zone to Ningbo, Chinese economy and finance in the eyes of Nobel Prize winners, Industry 4.0 and entrepreneurship in the Internet era and innovation-driven synergetic development of Shanghai and Ningbo, the forum has been widely welcomed in the society in which speeches are made by influential international experts, scholars and business leaders, including Robert J. Shiller, winner of the Nobel Economics Prize in 2013, Jin Li, academician from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Li Wuwei, a renowned Chinese economist, among others.
