The Cooperation Framework Agreement of Haichang Culture Tourism Project, with a total investment of RMB 4 billion, was recently signed in the Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area. Based on that, the starting area of Qianwan international tourist resort will be built by the Hangzhou Bay New Area Administrative Committee and the Haichang Investment Co., Ltd (China).

This project will construct a tourism complex featuring tourism hub facilities, land + marine interaction, ecological exploration entertainment, theme tourism consumption, theme resort, science and research tour and supported commercial tour. Standardized by the world-level planning, design, construction and operation, it aims to create an advanced theme resort for immersive interaction and recreational consumption. Meanwhile, it will synergize with the Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park to enhance the tourism competitivity and build a new pattern of whole-area tourism. It’s expected that over 3 million tourists will come here annually when the project is in full operation.

It’s said that this startup area, including the Haichang Culture and Tourism Project, is to cover the west area of the Hangzhou Bay Bridge. As the developer and operator of domestic well-known ocean park, Haichang Investment Co., ltd (China) will participate in the formulation of resort construction and assist to introduce the international cultural tourism brands and illustrious IP projects so as to build a new hub of international tourism resort in the Yangtze River Delta region.

In recent years, committed to the ecological and livable development principle, Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area has been fueling the culture tourism growth as its leading industry.
