The list of outstanding service projects of social organizations procured by the Ningbo Federation of Trade Unions in 2020 was released lately, and 2 projects of social organizations serving employees in Cixi are on the list.

These 2 projects are the Cixi “Care for Old Model Workers” Warm Action and the Cixi Enterprise Safety Drill and Rescue Training Program. The project of Cixi “Care for Old Model Workers” Warm Action was initiated by Qian Haijun, a national model worker, in 2019 and run by the Qian Haijun Volunteer Service Center to provide 60-year-old or above model workers from all walks of life in Cixi with services such as traditional festival greetings, thematic collective activities, home power maintenance, and at-home haircut and so on. Till now, the project has served over 500 model workers. While the Cixi Enterprise Safety Drill and Rescue Training Program was carried out by the Cixi Wolf Rescue Team. Through training of high-altitude escape and emergency rescue, the staff can learn and practice while watching, and master necessary knowledge of avoiding dangers and self and mutual rescue, so as to achieve the effect of calmness when in danger, minimizing the loss and injury, and maximizing the awareness of prevention in daily work. In the past 2 years, 8 large-scale experience activities have been held and the order of large-scale activities has been maintained for 25 times, benefiting more than 7,800 employees.
