Taking a red tour and telling stories on the history of the Communist Party of China. On March 26, a “happy bus” themed “following the group to learn the Party’s history” set off from the entrance square of the Cixi City Exhibition Hall. During the journey, more than 30 backbone young publicists presented Party lessons, exchange their feelings and comprehend original aspirations. This was the first “group expedition” of the “Youth Power” 8090 Youth Publicity Group of theMunicipal Committee of the Communist Youth League after it’s established.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and it is the right time to learn the Party’s history and telling stories on the history of the Party at this key juncture of the historical convergence of the "two centenary" goals. Therefore, the Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth Leagueactively played its organizational advantages, extensively absorbed youth forces in various fields to form the “Youth Power” 8090 Youth Publicity Group, opened up red research and learning lines, visited red landmarks, remembered revolutionary martyrs, and explored heroic storiesthrough "guided" publicity, thus connecting red cultural spots in Cixi into lines, popularizingParty history stories that took place in Cixi, and letting the red gene and revolutionary torch to bepassed on generation after generation.Up till now, 8 publicity activities have been carried out.

At the inaugural ceremony of the happy bus for “taking a red tour and telling stories on the history of the Communist Party of China” and for civilization practice in the new era on the same day, the Cixi “Youth Power” 8090 Youth Publicity Group for popularization of the Party’s history was officially established. The first stop of the “happy bus” was the Guyaopu Village, a major "sea gateway" in the anti-Japanese base area behind enemy lines in Eastern Zhejiang. In the village, youth publicists reviewed the history and had a new understanding of the red fortress village.“As a member of the ‘Youth Power’ 8090 Youth Publicity Group, I shoulder the responsibility of learning the Party’s history well, summarize well and inherit and carry forward the Party's successful experience, make full use of this substantial ‘textbook’ of the Party’s history, and popularize fresh history of the Party to schools, enterprise workshops and agricultural fields in ways that the mass public are willing to listen, and find it easy to understand and for practice.” Zhou Tianlu, secretary of the League Working Committee of Gutang Sub-district, said.

“This time’s activity of ‘taking the happy bus to follow the group to learn the Party’s history’ is one of the activities organized by the Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League for telling centenary stories. In the follow-up, thematicgroup courses will be developed in the form of youth story club; youth music bands will be established; Party’s history-themed cultural creative products will be developed;youth entrepreneurs and agricultural makers will be introduced in the form of live enterprise visits and live interviews; ethnic series of “youth spokesmen” will be launched to visit red historical sites with ethnic compatriots such as ethnic minorities. Through participation in explanation and exchange of feelings, the recognition will be deepened, and people would be brought together closer.” A representative of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League introduced.
