Yesterday afternoon, the First Session of the Third Assembly Meeting of Cixi Municipal Internet Development Federation was held. The meeting revised articles of the federation, and decided to change the name of "Cixi Municipal Internet Cultural Association" to "Cixi Municipal Internet Development Federation", and elected a new leadership group.

Since its establishment in 2013, the Cixi Municipal Internet Cultural Association has been aiming at promoting healthy development of the network culture cause in Cixi, enhancing the cohesion of the association, strengthening self-discipline of the industry, prospering network culture, promoting network public welfare activities, leading the trend of green network civilization, transmitting positive network energy, telling good stories of Cixi, and presenting good voices of Cixi, so as to fully promote the construction of a clean and bright network space in Cixi and provide strong support and inexhaustible power for optimization of the internet ecology.

The newly founded Cixi Municipal Internet Development Federation is local, jointly-supported, and non-profit social organization. Its members include network social organizations, such as the Municipal Network Cultural Association, the Municipal Computer Society, and outstanding internet companies and individuals recommended by the MunicipalCyberspace Administration and other network related units. The federation is composed of sub-federations, including the College of Science & Technology Ningbo University Sub-federation, the WeChat Subscription Account Sub-federation, and sub-federations in towns (sub-districts) and so on.

As is learnt, the federation will continue to play a good role as a bridge and link, coordinate resources of all sectors of the society, gather together the strength of network social organizations, innovate and promote all kinds of work, and promote high-quality development of theinternet industry in Cixi.
