During the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, two short videos of “Guanhaiwei Weishan Primary School Students Hike on Foot 18 Kilometers to Cherish the Memory of Revolutionary Martyrs”released on TikTok received more than 25,000 person-time likes, thus becoming the first most popular short video of the #Red Cixi Network Short Video Exhibition Activity.

As is learnt, in order to create a strong atmosphere for celebrating the 100th birthday of the Communist Party of China and develop a brand of Cixi's online culturalpopularization, the Cixi Municipal Cyberspace Administration and Cixi Municipal Internet Development Federation jointly launched the #Red Cixi Network Short Video Exhibition Activity. Online collection and display of short videos for the activity starts today and will last till July 31 on TikTok.

All local netizens and government and mass organizations as well as We Media organizations that have their own official accounts on TikTok are welcome to participate in this activity. Pieces of work submitted are required tofocus on relevant people, events, sceneries, and achievements related to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and take local reality into consideration, so as to show the red historical resources in Cixi, carry forward the red culture, inherit the red gene, and vividly tell red stories of Cixi.The production and presentation forms are unlimited. After completion, you need to upload your piece of work to the TikTok platform and make sure add a topic label of#Red Cixi.

After online collection and display, the organizer of the activity will invite an expert jury in August to select the first prize, second prize, third prize, outstanding prize, shortlisted prize and a number of group organization prizesfrom the displayed pieces of work while taking creativity, video picture, expression, influence and so on into consideration, and issue certificates and awards.
