The 17th China Cixi Household Appliances Expo, the largest comprehensive exhibition of the household appliance industry in Cixi, opened on April 15. In the morning of April 16, Sheng You, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Cixi Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Cixi City, made a visit to the exhibition, inspecting every exhibition area of the expo and learning about exhibitors participating in the expo. Li Yingzhong, Deputy Mayor of the Cixi City, participated in the inspection visit.

The theme of this year’s expois the same as that of last year’s “new quality manufacturing, new intelligent manufacturing and new retail”, and all exhibition areas in the exhibition halls of the Cixi Convention and Exhibition Center boast elements of fashion, science and technology and intelligence. A variety of products and solutions integrating the most cutting-edge technologies and fashion design fullydisplay the latest innovative achievements of the household appliance industry in Cixi, define the smart and connected lifestyle in the digital era, and fully show the achievements that had been made by the household appliance industry in Cixi in recent years.

During the inspection tour, Sheng You visited exhibitors of Bull, Fotile, Kadeer, and Feilong, all of which are famous leading brands within the household appliance industry. At every exhibition area, ShengYou and exhibitors would have a friendly conversation and talk about development, earnestly understanding fruitful achievements of the enterprises and brands in the field of technological innovation and development, and would encourage exhibitors to make full use of the important platform of the Expo, strengthen resource exchanges and deepen practical cooperation, so as to jointly promote the high-quality development of the household appliance industry, and highlight the hard power and unlimited potential in the field of intelligent science and technology.

Beinga 5G network construction leading area, a 5G industrial development cluster and a 5G innovation and application demonstration zone, Cixi is proud to have China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile to exhibit various 5G application scenarios. ShengYou learnt the latest development and application of the 5G technology with great interest, and watched technology and product demonstration onsite. He wished that the three major operators of China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile will continue to take advantage of the internet plus operation experts to fully promote the deep synergy and integration of the new generation of information and communication technologies and industrial systems, and jointly promote the household appliance manufacturers in Cixi to take the lead in the industrial transformation and development.

As is learnt from the organizing committee of the expo, this year, the exhibition area reached about 25,000 square meters with a total of 5 major exhibition halls for 242 exhibitors renting 582 exhibition booths in total. Exhibits covered seasonal household appliances, water appliances, small appliances, kitchen appliances, household appliance machineries and intelligent household appliance industry facilitating services and so on. During the expo, the 13th “Cixi Cup” Industrial Design Competition, the Cixi Intelligent Household Appliance Industrial Talents Recruitment Fair, and the Cixi Household Appliance Global Cross-border E-commerce Series Summit Forums were held.
