The Publicity List of the First Provincial Pilot Demonstration Enterprises for the Integrated Development of the New Generation of Information Technologies and the Manufacturing Industry 2021 (personalized customization direction) was released recently, and a total of 102 enterprises in the Zhejiang Province are on the list. 8 enterprises in Cixi, namely the Jia’nan Intelligence, Deman Compressor, Xinhai Science and Technology, Easun Pneumatic Science & Technology, Wanneng Electron, Qixi Holdings, Longhua Auto Parts, Cixi Building Components, are on the list, ranking the first among counties (cities and districts) in the Zhejiang Province. These enterprises are mainly in the primary, secondary and tertiary industrial fields in the city, such as intelligent equipment, intelligent household electrical appliances and auto parts.

Digital transformation has become an irreversible trend of the times.In recent years, taking the development of digital economy as an opportunity, Cixi has actively implemented the action plan for the development of digital economy, vigorously promoted the digital transformation of enterprises and improved the level of industrial digitization.Last year, the industry digitization level representing the digital economy development index ranked the first in Ningbo and the fourth in the province. In the first half of this year, the added value of manufacturing, the core industry of digital economy above the designated scale, continued to rank the first among counties (cities and districts) in Ningbo. “The manufacturing industry in Cixi will be upgraded to intelligent manufacturing mainly through the guidance of benchmarking enterprise demonstration projects, enterprise digital popularization and promotion, digital transformation and service ecological construction.” A relevant person in charge of the municipal economic and information technology bureau said at an interview.
