Yesterday morning, the Cixi Municipal Mobilization and Deployment Meeting on the Special Action of “Major Rectification, Law Enforcement and Training” for Workplace Safety and Fire Safety was held. At the meeting, the Plan for the Action of “Major Rectification, Law Enforcement and Training” for Workplace Safety and Fire Safety was interpreted. Bu Mingchang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Cixi Municipal Committee and the Standing Vice Mayor of the Cixi City, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

It’s pointed out at the meeting that this action thoroughly compares the list of issues and various potential risks, so as to fundamentally eliminate potential accidents, prevent and reduce accidents, promote the upgrading of various work on workplace safety and fire safety in the city, and create a safe and stable environment for high-quality construction of a modern new city of Cixi with common prosperity and beauty.

The meeting required that the bottom-line thinking should be firmly established in the rectification process, the sense of responsibility should be strengthened, and the safety awareness should not be relaxed for a moment, so as to prevent the situation that the top is active but the bottom is inactive, that sometimes it’s active and sometimes inactive, and that the government is active but the enterprise is inactive. It’s also necessary to establish a firm and strict style of work, check and rectify every place without leakage, fully cover the investigation of hidden dangers, strictly control the rectification without ambiguity, strengthen the team construction and platform construction, and consolidate the grass-roots foundation through multi-party interactions. It’s also a must to strengthen the awareness of the rule of law, consistently implement the safety system, establish a regular safety training, publicity and education mechanism, a dual prevention mechanism for safety risk control and hidden danger investigation, and a closed-loop mechanism for problem discovery and disposal, build a strong line of defense for workplace safety and resolutely curb the occurrence of all kinds of safety related accidents.
