Brushed jade carving, bean crisp sugar, dough sculpture, celadon, peasant paintings, Sanjie Farm’s homemade zongzi, mini candy balls... At the event site, nearly 20 stalls of various types were set up to present intangible cultural heritage food, intangible cultural heritage masterpieces, intangible cultural heritage performances, intangible cultural heritage New Year goods, etc. “lighting up” the charming atmosphere of Cixi traditional culture and the Spring Festival.

The residents who heard the news enjoyed Cixi New Year’s flavor and intangible cultural heritage culture in Cixi while watching how these foods were produced. A little boy was attracted by the dough sculpture skills of Sun Wencong, a descendant of intangible cultural heritage. While enjoying the dough sculpture, he tasted pastries such as mini candy balls and fried dough twist.

At 12:30, with the beginning of the theme performance for the Chinese New Year, the scene atmosphere was pushed to a climax, and the applause and laughter gathered together. Xinjiang Dance, male and female solo, male and female duet, Yue Opera and Shaoxing Opera, erhu solo and guzheng... Artists presented various artistic performances well prepared in various forms.
