In the morning of May 29 last year, when Lei was employed by Xu to carry cement bags in Xu's store, the stacked cement bags collapsed and hit Lei's waist, causing Lei's lumbar compression fracture injury. After hospitalization and outpatient treatment for many times, the injury was basically stable, and then it was identified as Grade 9 Disability by judicial appraisal. Due to the disagreement on compensation between the two parties, Lei has not been able to get the compensation. In the morning of March 17 this year, Lei came to the CPPCC Xiaolin Township Committee Member Studio to seek for help.
During the mediation process, Shen Zhijun analyzed and reasoned from the perspective of laws and regulations, carefully handled the disputes between the two parties, and the two parties finally reached an agreement. The two parties shook hands and made peace. Xu paid the compensation to Lei on the spot. The dispute was successfully resolved and was highly praised by both parties.

In view of disputes encountered in people's daily life, such as property rights protection, marriage disputes, labor and personnel issues, house leasing, property division, on-the-job injury rights protection and so on. The studio would firstly intervene in mediation. If the mediation fails, legal aid free of charge would be provided, so as to truly make the legal service work benefiting the people. Since its establishment in April 2020, the studio has mediated 12 disputes of different kinds and carried out legal aid for more than 40 times.
