Yesterday afternoon, the Activities of the Cixi Municipal Social Science Popularization Month 2022 and the Establishment Ceremony of the Cixi Theoretical Publicity College were held in the School of Science and Technology of the Ningbo University, and the first theoretical publicity college in the province was awarded. Deng Xiaodong, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and Director of the Municipal Civilization Office, Lu Huanqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Ningbo Academy of Social Sciences, attended the event, and Jiang Zaiguo, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Municipal Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, delivered a speech.

The popularization of social sciences is a basic project in the work of philosophy and social sciences. Theoretical publicity is an important carrier for the popularization of social sciences. It is an effective means to tell vivid stories of economic and social development, to condense and summarize the enlightenment of practical experience, and to concentrate and motivate people to forge ahead. The establishment of the Cixi Theoretical Publicity Institute this time is a concrete action for the city to implement the spirit of the 15th provincial Party Congress. It will better publicize research results, popularize social science knowledge, spread advanced culture and carry forward the humanistic spirit in the form of "universities + locality" and "teachers + students" in accordance with the requirements of "publicity + education", "demonstration + innovation" and "normal + long-term", so as to strive to form a theoretical highland with Cixi characteristics, highlighting political theories and embodying mass sharing, and to provide ideological guarantee, spiritual motivation and intellectual support for the development of the city.

Onsite, 15 excellent publicists from all walks of life in the city and the School of Science and Technology of the Ningbo University were employed as the first group of lecturers of the School of Science and Technology of the Ningbo University, and two groups of publicists gave presentations. In addition, the School of Science and Technology of the Ningbo University set up five backbone student teams to focus on the themes of cultural auditorium research, red literature and art publicity, public interest litigation for the protection of revolutionary sites, residents' digital literacy research and community correction to conduct researches and publicity in the towns and subdistricts in the summer.
