A few days ago, the Finals of the First Ningbo Women Volunteer Service Project Competition 2022, organized by the Ningbo Women's Federation and co-undertaken by the Cixi Women's Federation and the Ningbo Volunteers' College, was held in Cixi. 16 women's volunteer service projects from all districts (counties and cities) competed on the same stage, showing the original intention, experience and the development process and the help and warmth it brings to the society.

It is reported that the purpose of holding the women's volunteer service project competition is to vigorously carry forward the volunteer spirit of dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress, continuously promote the professional, project-based and brand development of women's volunteer service, and guide the majority of women volunteers and volunteer service organizations to make greater contributions to building a model national civilized city of Cixi.

After the early project application and preliminary evaluation, 16 projects stood out from 41 volunteer service projects and entered the finals. At the finals, the volunteers stepped onto the stage one by one, and in the form of roadshow and defense, they showed their warm stories in volunteer service activities such as helping students and supporting education, helping the poor, benefiting the people, policy publicity, civilization guidance, medical fitness, culture and art, science popularization, etc..

After fierce competition, 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 5 bronze medals and 6 excellence medals were finally awarded. The winning projects will be included in the key volunteer service projects library of the Ningbo Women's Federation. The "Children Enjoying Red Brilliance" Beilun District Red Culture Popularization Volunteer Service project and the "Helping Cocoons Become Butterflies" Jiangbei District Helping Active Duty Military Wives Volunteer Service project won the gold medals. The volunteer service projects of "Warming the Heart with Ginkgo - Restarting the Soul of Mothers Having Lost Their Children" and "A Bowl of Caring Porridge Warms a City", selected by the Cixi Women's Federation, both won silver medals.

In the morning on the same day, the participating volunteers also visited the Qian Haijun Volunteer Service Center of the Zhejiang Cixi Power Supply Company of the State Grid.
