Recently, the results of the selection of the top ten outstanding cases of serving children by women's social organizations in China were announced. The "Empowering Social Forces to Accurately Serve Children in the Cixi City" recommended by the Cixi Municipal Women's Federation was selected as the only outstanding case from the Zhejiang Province on the list.

Since last year, the Organization Department of the All-China Women's Federation and the Social Liaison Center of the All-China Women's Federation have launched projects and case collection and exhibition activities on women's social organizations serving children nationwide. After being recommended by various provincial women's federations, evaluated by experts, and publicly announced, 50 national exhibition projects and 10 national outstanding cases were ultimately selected. The selected case of "Empowering Social Forces to Accurately Serve Children in the Cixi City" mainly focuses on cultivating social organizations to provide services for children by the Cixi Municipal Women and Children's Activity Center, showcasing the unique practices and typical experiences of related work, providing references for contacting and guiding women's social organizations to better serve children.

In recent years, the Cixi Municipal Women's Federation has actively played the pivotal role of the Cixi Municipal Women and Children's Activity Center as the working window of the Women's Federation, strengthened support for women's social organizations to serve children, helped women's social organizations link social resources, gathered all parties' forces, created brand projects, and achieved a demonstration effect of social organizations serving children. At present, 11 social organizations have been established in the Cixi Municipal Women and Children's Activity Center, driving the establishment of 69 social organizations at the township and village levels. We have undertaken a total of 12 provincial-level service projects, 6 Ningbo municipal service projects, and 76 Cixi municipal service projects, covering various hot topics such as parent-child reading, family education, and child protection, etc.. More than 900 related courses have been offered at the Women and Children's Activity Center, benefiting more than 23,000 children and parents. At the same time, relying on the Municipal Women's Federation, a total of 1.176 million yuan has been invested in financial funds for social organizations to undertake service-providing activities, providing basic financial support for projects providing services for children by social organizations; social organizations such as the Municipal Women Entrepreneurs' Association, the Municipal Knitting Industry Association, and the Municipal Cheongsam Association, as well as caring enterprises such as the Bull Group and the Fotile have been encouraged to assist in social welfare service projects; multiple relevant departments in charge of civil affairs, health, education, and judiciary, together with social forces, have been paying attention to children's development and participating in providing services for children.
