The completion and delivery of this project will effectively improve the environment of the city's elderly care institutions, and play a positive role in further improving the service level of the city's social and public welfare undertakings. It is reported that the renovation and improvement project of the Urban Social Welfare Center (Phase I) is commissioned by the Municipal Public Construction Center, with a renovation area of approximately 12,000 square meters and a total investment of 21.34 million yuan. The main renovation content includes the renovation project of buildings 1-8 in Phase I of the Urban Welfare Center, which includes internal decoration, roof and exterior wall maintenance, facility and equipment improvement, aging adaptation transformation, and smart elderly care equipment improvement, with a total of 308 standard rooms and 25 emergency beds. Since the start of construction 4 months ago, the Municipal Public Construction Center has taken building a demonstration project as its goal, using a "wall map" of tasks and work out timetables with a clear division of responsibilities and pressed forward with implementation, and using the "first piece of model system" pilot decoration model room to improve the quality of the project, completing it 2 months ahead of schedule. With the continuous deepening of the aging population process, all sectors of the society are paying high attention to the development of elderly care services. In 2021, the second phase of the Urban Social Welfare Center, which was newly built with an investment of 200 million yuan by our city's finance, was completed and delivered. It's equipped with a nursing home to truly realize the integration of medical care and elderly care, further improving the layout of elderly care facilities in our city, and alleviating the problem of elderly care and housing for the disabled and dementia elderly in the city.
