Yesterday afternoon, the Launching Ceremony of the Philosophy and Social Science Popularization Week 2024 was held at the Yubo Square.

This year, the Cixi Municipal Social Science Federation takes the location of the Social Science Federation as the center and integrates social science homes, social science popularization bases, and other positions within a 15-minute drive from the surrounding area. By establishing a "six have" mechanism for social science popularization, the "15-minute" social science popularization circle has been launched to accelerate the construction of a new era of "big science popularization" working pattern and to effectively improve the public's social science literacy and moral and cultural level.

At the launching ceremony, 10 units, including the Zhejiang Provincial Social Science Home, the Municipal Theory Publicity College, the Municipal Urban Exhibition Hall, the Municipal Library, the Municipal Xinhua Bookstore, the Red Academy, the Yubo Community, the Daodu Commune, the Digital and Creative Intangible Cultural Heritage Base, and the Joyful Health Silver Age Science Popularization Base, were awarded as the first selected units in the "15-minute" Social Science Popularization Circle.

The top 10 innovative project awards for social science popularization in 2023 were presented at the event; four social science popularization teams, including the theoretical publicity team, the reading promotion team, the red culture popularization team, and the intangible cultural heritage inheritance team, have been awarded flags and will organize relevant volunteers to carry out targeted social science popularization; Yao Yongmei, a lecturer with the Municipal Theory Publicity College, gave a lecture on the social science popularization base to popularize the celadon culture in Cixi.
