Recently, some catchy and easy to understand rhymes with their own rhythm have been passed down orally among villagers in the Lijia Village, Zhangqi Town. This is the village's independently created "Seven Character Classic" for safety patrol, which emphasizes the importance of drowning prevention, putting life safety first, and ensuring traffic safety...
The Lijia Village was awarded the title of "Zhejiang Province Good Governance Village" in 2020. The village has 7 grid branches, which jointly negotiate and formulate a group prevention and control patrol and prevention plan, and carry out weekly regular safety night patrols. They regularly promote knowledge related to preventing telecommunications fraud, drowning, theft, and safe use of fire and electricity to villagers. Since the beginning of this year, the village has organized a total of 34 safety patrols, with more than 1,020 participating person times. The number of public security cases has decreased by 6.06% year-on-year, and the awareness and satisfaction rate of new and old villagers towards safety construction work has been effectively improved.
In recent years, the collective defense and governance capabilities of the Zhangqi Town have gradually improved, becoming an important team to safeguard the "safety of Zhangqi". The town attracts multiple forces such as public security, village residents, social organizations, and volunteers from various sectors, and combines specialized groups and the masses to jointly form a group team for collective prevention and control. They would wear "red vests", walk through the streets and households, go deep into various densely populated places, use "familiar faces" to carry out prevention publicity, hidden danger investigation, safety inspections and other activities, help grassroots social governance to deepen and solidify, and extend the safety tentacles to every end of social governance.
The police force is limited, but the civilian force is infinite. The town has launched a special campaign to improve social security, paired up across villages, and sparked full enthusiasm for participating in safety patrols. As of now, the town has established a group prevention and control team consisting of 19 teams with more than 2,000 people, and has carried out a total of 270 safety patrols. The number of cases accepted for preventing telecommunications fraud in the town has decreased by 28.57% year-on-year, and the amount of losses has decreased by 12.33% year-on-year. The satisfaction rate and awareness rate have significantly increased compared to those of the same period last year.
