Recently, the list for the Ningbo 3-Star Micro and Small Enterprise Parks 2025 was announced, with the Tsinghua Technology & Innovation (Ningbo) Innovation Base in our city being selected as the only municipal-level park on the list.

As one of the provincial "4+1" major projects, the Tsinghua Technology & Innovation (Ningbo) Innovation Base is a technological innovation base deployed by Tsinghua Technology & Innovation Holdings in the Ningbo Qianwan New Area. Covering an area of 116 mu with a total floor area of 180,000 square meters, the base integrates a full chain of technological park products, including high-end corporate headquarters offices, technology business incubators, makerspaces, innovation and entrepreneurship communities, and micro-enterprise entrepreneurship parks. Since becoming fully operational in July 2022, the base has achieved an occupancy rate of 80%. Leveraging local traditional industrial resources, it has introduced resources in intelligent manufacturing, electronic information, new energy, new materials, and optoelectronic chips, aligning with the city’s leading industries and key emerging sectors, to create a specialized platform for technology transfer and incubation. Simultaneously, the base introduced the Tianjin Research Institute for Advanced Equipment, Tsinghua University to establish the Cixi Joint Research Center for Intelligent Manufacturing Common Technologies in Cixi, dedicated to driving the industrial development of the city. Since 2024, 43 enterprises have been introduced, including 3 high-tech enterprises. Moving forward, the base will focus on emerging industries, combining "service" and "guidance" to promote investment attraction and ensure projects to take root. It will also continue to refine its full-chain incubation system, efficiently link vertical industrial chain resources, and provide a full lifecycle of cultivation and support for startups through upstream and downstream collaboration mechanisms, fostering the aggregation of emerging industries and driving high-quality regional industrial development.

According to statistics from the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, our city currently has 1 provincial-level 5-star micro and small enterprise park and 6 Ningbo municipal-level 3-star micro and small enterprise parks.
