The Singfun Electric in Fuhai has achieved initial success by adopting a trusted industrial internet platform for digital transformation, establishing a process-based virtual production line structure. The manufacturing company produced 100,000 units with a 22%+ increase in production line efficiency and a 98%+ yield rate.
Another water appliance company, Hongyi Environmental Technology, installed the trusted industrial internet platform's beat system, addressing issues such as inaccurate capacity tracking, delayed material delivery, and quality anomalies. This enabled just-in-time production and Kanban management, increasing production capacity by approximately 25% year-on-year.
Firmly following an innovation-driven development path, seizing opportunities in digitalization, networking, and intelligence, aligning with green transformation trends, and leveraging standardization developments will help open new avenues for growth and shape new competitive advantages. At the recent Cixi City Trusted Digital Transformation Product Release & Fuhai Town Digital Upgrade Mobilization Conference, the two aforementioned companies shared their user experiences. Meanwhile, the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, the Fuhai Town, and the College of Science & Technology, Ningbo University jointly released a popular edition of the trusted digital transformation product, offering "free" upgrades for small household appliance enterprises. With the continuous development and application of new-generation information technologies like AI, corporate digital transformation is no longer an "optional question" but a "mandatory task" vital to enterprise survival and growth. On-site, trusted digital transformation service providers signed agreements with representatives from enterprises of Baoerma, Timlu, and Lanquan.
"The popular edition of trusted digital transformation is a lightweight production management system tailored for discrete manufacturing in small household appliances, integrating production lines, production task flows, material preparation and return flows, and product outbound flows," explained Professor Wang Xiancheng from the College of Science & Technology, Ningbo University during the event. A three-month pilot at the CIXi Electric showed a 35%+ increase in production line efficiency and a 30%+ rise in worker wages. Their trusted appliance blockchain collaboration platform, a joint effort between the College of Science & Technology, Ningbo University and the CIXi Electric, was also listed as a provincial outstanding case in digital economic development.
A representative from the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau stated that this year, full digital coverage for above-scale industrial enterprises will transit from Phase 1.0 to 2.0, with complete coverage expected by 2027. The release and application of the digital transformation products will provide SMEs with a step-by-step path to digital upgrading.
