In June, the waxberries ripen, and the Henghe Town welcomes its annual waxberry harvest season. In recent days, the temporary waxberry sales point at the Henghe Triangle Station has been bustling with activities. Baskets of plump, dark-red waxberries, glistening with dew, are neatly arranged, attracting many residents to stop and inquire about prices. To ensure smooth and orderly waxberry transactions, the Henghe Town Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team has fully committed to shifting from regulation to services, paving a "green channel" for waxberry farmers and the industry.
Standardized Operations to Maintain Safety and Order. To address potential roadside vending issues during the early stages of the waxberry season, law enforcement officers proactively stepped in to assist. They patiently guided and helped farmers set up their stalls properly in three designated temporary trading zones, Longnan, Triangle Station, and Meiyuan Overpass, ensuring no encroachment on sidewalks or blind paths. This maintained a clean urban environment while eliminating safety hazards like hailing customers from the roadside. Since June 6, over 100 waxberry farmers have orderly settled into the market under the guidance of law enforcement officers.
Express Delivery Support to Speed Up Fresh Fruit Logistics. During the peak season, demand for waxberry shipping surges, leaving some courier outlets struggling with package backlogs and space shortages. Law enforcement officers conducted advance surveys, adjusted shifts to assist during off-peak hours, and visited outlets to coordinate the opening of "green channels", effectively easing the pressure of "limited space" and "shipping difficulties". Farmer Ms. Zhang at the Triangle Station sales point shared her gratitude: "In previous years, when courier trucks piled up, the entrance became impassable. This year, law enforcement officers helped plan temporary storage areas and arranged more frequent pickups, making shipping waxberries faster and more reliable."
It is reported that the Henghe waxberry season will last for over half a month. A spokesperson from the Henghe Town Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team stated that they will continue to focus on the entire supply chain from harvesting to market sales, packaging, and shipping, leveraging refined management and proactive services to enhance the local waxberry brand and support high-quality industrial development, ensuring Henghe’s "fresh sweetness" reaches households more smoothly.
