This year, due to severe weather and serious pest infestations among other factors, some edamame soybean growers in our city have experienced reduced yields and income. How to analyze and assess the current situation of our city's vegetable industry, guide large-scale vegetable growers in the scientific, safe, and efficient use of fertilizers, enhance the scale of socialized services for the vegetable industry, and achieve quality improvement and efficiency enhancement in the vegetable sector? On August 26, the Cixi Eastern Supply and Marketing Development Co., Ltd., in conjunction with the Longshan Town Agricultural Service Center and the city's Xinghe Agricultural Materials Co., Ltd., specially organized a training conference on quality improvement and efficiency enhancement for vegetables in Cixi. Dr. Fu Qinglin, a soil science expert from the Zhejiang University and researcher at the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was invited to deliver lectures and training. He provided guidance focusing on the high-quality development of our city's two leading vegetable industries of edamame soybeans and broccoli.

The newly established Cixi Eastern Supply and Marketing Development Co., Ltd., founded in early July this year, was invested in and formed primarily by Times Agriculture Co., Ltd., with additional cooperative investment from the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative, the Longshan Town People’s Government, and the Haidianrong Village and Shuangma Village in the Longshan Town. The company's person in charge, Mao Peicheng, stated that under the leadership of the Municipal Agricultural Association and the Longshan Town People’s Government, and relying on the various town agricultural service centers and industrial agricultural associations, the company will leverage the support of Times Company's "National Demonstration Zone for Digitalization, Mechanization, and Standardization of Fresh Edamame Soybeans", "National Legume Science and Technology Backyard", "National Soybean Improvement Center Demonstration Base", and "National-Level Ecological Farm". Focusing on our city's two leading vegetable industries, edamame and broccoli, it will actively explore new paths and models for agricultural development, provide exemplary leadership, improve services, technologies, management, and marketing mechanisms, strive to create a new benchmark for modern agricultural services, empower rural revitalization, and contribute to increased agricultural efficiency and higher farmer incomes. Currently, our city has 60,000 mu of edamame soybean and 80,000 mu of broccoli.

Aligning with the trends in our city's agricultural modernization and the service needs of growers, the company implements precise, whole-process, and supporting services.
